Magnesium Bisglycinate for relaxation and full body health
Magnesium is the 4th most abundant mineral in the body and is involved in over 600 body enzyme reactions. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), 75% of US adults do not meet the FDA's recommendations for magnesium! Magnesium helps activate your parasympathetic nervous system (aka rest and digest mode) to get you out of a harmful stress response and into a restful, healing state.
Research shows that Magnesium is effective in improving sleep, supports muscle relaxation, supports insulin sensitivity, promotes optimal blood flow, reduces development of migraines, and supports a healthy stress response.
Magnesium serves as also a crucial cofactor for synthesis of Vitamin D levels. We chose magnesium glycinate because glycine is a neurotransmitter that helps to promote sleep and relaxation, while also improving absorption and bioavailability. Unlike other brands & types that use a laxative form, such as magnesium citrate, we one with low absorption, we wanted you to get the best bang for your buck for relaxation benefits!
Valerian Root to soothe anxious feelings
Valerian is a flowering plant native to parts of Europe and Asia. Nicknamed as "nature's sedative", if you struggle with racing thoughts at night, research shows that valerian promotes healthy sleep by calming your mind and improving sleep quality without unwanted side effects. Valerian root is well known for its improvements in insomnia. It acts as an anxiolytic, increaseing GABA levels in the brain. This helps to improve the quality and length of your sleep. Reviews also show valerian root also may help to reduce symptoms of OCD, reduce hot flashes, and support PMS.
GABA to calm your nerves
GABA is a powerful inhibitory neurotransmitter that soothes and settles the nerve cells in your brain and central nervous system for a good night’s rest. Research shows that it can help to lower anxiety, stabilize your mood, and reduce stress.
L-Theanine for stress management and relaxation
L-theanine is an amino acid found naturally in green tea that helps put you into an alert state of relaxation (without drowsiness) by increasing α-brain waves. Studies show that it helps reduce feelings of stress and anxiety, improves sleep quality, aids in mental performance, and diminishes symptoms associated with PMS. We use Sun-theanine ®, a patended form, to ensure purity and reliability. L-theanine doesn't act as a sleep aid itself, but promotes a restful, focused, and peaceful mind, which in turn can promote more restful, quality sleep.
Hops to help you fall asleep faster
Hops are flowers from the hops plant and traditionally used to make beer. They help encourage sleep by having a sedative effect. Studies show this ingredient is effective at improving feelings of depression and anxiety over 4-weeks. In combination with valerian, hops helps to improve sleep duration and quality and can be a beneficial herb for those suffering with insomnia.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the best time to take Magical Sleep?
We recommend taking it about 45 minutes before you normally go to bed with a sip of water to give it time to get into your system and begin helping you relax. If desired, you may empty the capsules and put into a smoothie.
Will Magical Sleep work immediately?
This supplement will help you relax from the first night of taking it. Like many natural herbs, the full effects can take a couple of weeks to build up in your system. Think about it like this, if you live under chronic stress it can take a little while for your body to balance your stress hormones and help you return to balance. This product works best at helping you stay asleep. It will not help with sleep if proper diet & lifestyle modifications (such as blocking blue light in the evening & limiting caffeine) are not implemented!
Natural melatonin production is created in the evenings with the exposure to darkness and is suppressed by all light- including blue and artificial light. The use of exogenous melatonin can to normalize irregular sleep patterns and support a healthy night's rest, however in the presence of artificial or blue light, melatonin can not work it's best. We encourage you to make sure to limit blue light exposure in the evenings by using blue light blocking glasses and eliminating electronic use 30 min before bed for optimal benefits!
Does Magical Sleep interact with any medications?
Great question! We recommend consulting with your doctor or pharmacist if you take any prescription medications before starting this supplement. They’ll be able to look at your medications and inform you of any possible interactions.
Will Taking Melatonin Shut Down My Natural Production?
This is a common myth surrounding melatonin supplementation. Taking a melatonin supplement will not shunt the production of your own melatonin. However, blue light exposure, high stress, aging, alcohol intake, and disrupted circadian rhythms can.
